I have been employed as a stenographer, bank teller and cook but have been retired since the early 2000's.
After losing my husband in the winter of 2023 I found time laid heavy on my hands. In the Fall I attended the Saugeen Artist Guild and found to my surprise a bit of an artistic ability.
I started making watercolour cards and received much encouragement and instruction from my fellow painters. This spring I joined the Guild. I have found painting not only fun but also exciting as it is always a mystery what each painting will become.
