Artist's Statement

When walking in the bush, along the lake, kayaking, or just looking at the landscape when driving, I am truly amazing at the wonder of God’s creation and at my attempt to show the majesty on canvas.  The shadows are what I try to recreate to contrast shadows and sun. The colors of the sunset and the luminescence cannot be truly captured on canvas but will bring to mind all the beauty that we can enjoy.
